Certifications

Fire door performance is defined by independent testing, third-party certification, and strict compliance with recognised UK standards. These certifications and regulations form the framework that ensures fire doors are correctly manufactured, supplied, installed, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.

BS EN 1634-1

- European fire resistance test for door an shutter assemblies

- Assesses fire performance under controlled furnace conditions

- Applies to fire doors tested to the EN fire test standard

BS 8214

Important Compliance Note

Fire door certification relates to the complete door set as tested. Substitution of components, alteration of construction or deviation from installation guidance may invalidate certification and compromise fire performance.
